"How much longer are we going to be here?" Omni asked as he sat in the diner. "New York's boring!"

"Yeah, when every hero and his brother is living here," Fast Track replied. "That's why we're trying to find a place where no other hero has a claim."

"LA?" Omni asked.

"So help me God, if you make another 'Angel' reference," Fast Track sternly warned.

"So that's the plan," Terry told Grant as they were walking through the old Titans HQ, waiting to meet the others. "I can see it all: T-shirts, movies, books, pudding snacks, cartoons!"

"As long as it's not anime," Grant told him. "I hate anime."

They didn't realize the door was sliding open...

"And we'll have to have a place to set up the Teen Trouble alert," Zan said as he looked around the building with his twin sister, Jayna, and their pet monkey, Gleek, just as a crashing sound was heard.

"What was that?" Zan asked as he and Jayna rushed into the next room as everyone watched Grant fighting with an intruder.

"Hey, it's the guys that stole our name and added West to it!" Jayna said.

"Cody?" Jayna asked as Grant was holding Risk's arm behind his back.

"Jayna?" Cody asked as Grant let him go. "You're...looking good."

"You know her?" Grant asked.

"We dated," Cody said as Zan looked between them. "JUST dated."

"You're the rebel that will never, ever be any good?" Zan asked.

"We came here to hide out," Gar said, trying to make sense of what was going on. "We thought the place was empty."

"We're staying here until we can find a place of our own," Grant said. "And I thought you guys were Titans "West". What are you doing all the way out here?"

"So we need to get to Nightwing before the DEO gets to us," Gar said. "And you're our best hope for that. Maybe you could round up the rest of the Titans. We were hoping that Robin could-"

"Robin?" Grant said. "No Robin. No Superboy. Just the five of us. Six if you count the monkey. Me, Fast Track, the Twins and Omni are it."

"Omni?" Bette asked as she started having visions of... someone holding Gar by the collar.

"The power..."

Suddenly Bette was snapped back to reality.

"How did you wind up leading this group?" Gar asked Grant.

"It's a long story," Grant replied. "Not to mention confusing. But we'll track down the JLX for you. Does anyone know you're here?"

"Just us," Fite & Maad said as they walked in. "And all of you are in very deep trouble."

"Do we arrest all of them?" Dakota Jamison asked.

"No," Director Bones said. "That is, unless the Teen Titans refuse to hand over the fugitives. In which case, shoot to kill, but I want Titans West alive."

Suddenly, dozens of armed guards poured into the Teen Titans headquarters, all armed to the teeth with laser rifles.

"The place is empty." One of the soldiers said as a smoke bomb suddenly hit the ground, covering the room in a dense layer of smoke. Sounds of punching and fighting were heard as bodies hit the ground. The smoke cleared and the Teen Titans and Titans West were standing all around.

"That was easy," Cody said. "I do hope there are more."

"There probably will be," Jason said. "And probably within the next few minutes."

"Why did you help us?" Grant asked Fite.

"We have our reasons," Fite replied. "But you'd better get your friends out of here before backup arrives. They won't be so easy to take down."

"Then we'd better get into costume," Gar said. "This could get ugly."

"All right, I got through to a friend of mine," Grant said as he hung up the phone. "We can probably get them out to the old Titans Island. He didn’t see anybody out there."

"But how do we get these guys over there?" Omni asked. "The DEO probably has spies on every corner. We'll be lucky if we don't get caught."

"That gives me an idea," Zan said as he came up with a plan. "I saw it once in a cartoon."

"I don't think a talking piece of crap can help us this time." Jayna told him.

"...Okay, I have another idea." Zan said.

Minutes later, seven Teen Titans exited their headquarters

"The Teen Titans just left," A man on the corner said into his jacket. "There's no sign of the fugitives, though."

"Have some men follow the Titans," Director Bones said. "And the rest of you get in their and get those fugitives!"

Suddenly a van crashed through the door and drove off. Someone who looked like Changeling was in the driver’s seat.

"They're going for it!" The soldier said. "After them!"

"Think they bought it?" Golden Eagle said as he took off his helmet, revealing he was really Omni.

"I hope so," Damage said as he took off a blonde wig.

"Let's lead those soldiers on a wild goose chase," Terry said. "But can someone else drive? I think I'm allergic to this green makeup."

"Forget the Teen Titans," The soldier said as three cars chased the van. "According to the energy signatures, we've got six fugitives in the van."

Meanwhile, the "Teen" Titans were on their way to the island.

"I don't know how Jayna can stand these tights," Bette said. "They're awfully form fitting."

"Your form looks fine." Gar said while dressed as Omni.

"At least you didn't get stuck being Zan." Cody said.

"It looks like the plan's working," Paco said, dressed as Fast Track. "I don't see anyone following us."

"Cut them off!" The soldier said as the van turned down the street. A jeep with four soldiers followed, firing at them.

"Take the wheel!" Damage said to Omni. "And get ready to move when I give the signal!"

"I didn't know you could drive." Zan said as he sat next to Omni in the passenger seat.

"Oh, please," Omni said. "I know how to drive."

Just then, the van drove onto the sidewalk as people started jumping out of the way.

"Never said I could drive it well..."

"Are we just supposed to wait for them?" Bette asked.

"They’ve stuck their necks out for us. The least we can do is return the favor," Gar said, waiting for the others to arrive.

"I’m tired of running," Cody said as he paced around and pounded his fist into his palm. "I want to get my hands on some of those DEO goons. I'm itching for some payback."

"This isn't the time or the place," Gar replied as he stopped Cody in his tracks. "But let's not let our guards down, just in case."

The soldiers continued firing at the van when the back doors opened and Damage shot a series of energy spikes at the ground, causing the jeep to swerve.

"Now what?" Jayna asked.

"We wait for Omni to-"

Just then, the van crashed and tipped over. The soldiers ran up after crashing their own jeep and pointed their guns.

"Alright, come out with your hands up!"

The soldier pulled the doors open, but the van was empty.

"Sir, we have a problem." The soldier said as he examined the disguises the Titans used to disguise themselves as Titans West.

"Glad to see you guys made it past the DEO's soldiers." Grant said as the Teen Titans climbed up a mound of earth on Titans Island.

"Thanks to you guys," Changeling replied. "Now what?”

“I thought you’d know,” Grant said, rubbing his head. “I’m kinda out of ideas right now.”
