Teen Titans
By Tobias Christopher

"Where is he?" Frostbite asked as the other Titans were loading the ship. "Why is he always late?"

"Because he has the attention span of a fruit fly," Carnage replied. "At least he isn't here to fry me like he did earlier."

"Hi, guys!" Harley Quinn yelled as she backflipped into the room, and gave Carnage a big kiss on the lips.

"You know, we've been dating for six months and I've never even seen your face," Carnage said. "I don't even know your name."

"Well, according to what we did last night, its ‘Get that weed whacker out of here!’," Harley replied. "When do we leave?"

"As soon as Imp gets here," Frostbite said. "Which should be about now."

Suddenly a lightning bolt shot out of an electrical socket and started bouncing around the room, before bouncing off of Carnage, zapping him again.

"Sorry I'm late, boss," Impulse said as a red, yellow and orange being made out of pure energy formed into Impulse. "Had to get a personalized license plate made."

"But you don't drive," Frostbite said. "Why would you get a license plate?"

Imp pulled out a license plate with the name ‘PRESTON’ on it. "Just for the hell of it. I have a name now, might as well get all the mileage I can out of it."

"Well, that makes four out of five of us," Carnage said, looking at Harley.

"Ship's ready to go," Micron said as the tiny Titan flew into the room and landed on Frostbite's shoulder. "I just hope we can shut Blood down this time."

"We will," Frostbite said. "This time, Blood's finished."

The ship blasted out of the center of the moon, heading toward the uncharted quadrant where Blood was last spotted.

"So what's the name of this uncharted planet?" Impulse asked.

"For the millionth time, I don't know," Micron replied. "That's why it's uncharted."

"We're getting close to the Monostat 7 region," Frostbite said as he looked at the monitor. "Remember, we don't strike until we know what we're up against."

"Since when?" Carnage asked as Harley sat on his lap.

"Since this is a life or death situation," Frostbite replied. "It's been almost six months since our last encounter. He's had time to organize, and now we're one member short."

"Yeah, he crippled Fast Track," Impulse said as he played ping-pong with himself, running around the table as superspeed. "He never saw that giant mousetrap coming."

"That's the last time we have a battle on the Hardware Planet," Frostbite agreed as continued monitoring the course. "We're almost there."

"This may be our final battle," Micron said. "I just hope we can finish Blood this time."

"We will," Frostbite said. "If anybody has any final words, let's get them out of the way now."

"Uh, I have a couple," Impulse said. "Uh... ‘buttcheeks’, heh heh. ‘Boobs’. I just want to say that again. ‘Boobs’. Heh heh."

The others just ignored him as they went on with what they were doing.

"There it is," Frostbite said as he pointed to the uncharted planet. "We know nothing about this planet, so let's be careful."

"I know this planet has giant lasers," Impulse said.

"What makes you say that?" Carnage asked.

"Because there's one heading for us right now!" Impulse replied.

Before anyone could react, the ship was rocked by an explosion as the lights started flickering on and off.

"We're gonna crash!" Frostbite shouted as the ship started falling toward the planet's surface.

"This is it," Carnage said as he held onto Harley. "I love you."

"I'm pregnant!" Harley shouted.

"You're what!?" Carnage asked.

The ship landed hard on the planet's surface and started breaking apart before it finally came to a stop.

"Is everyone alright?" Frostbite asked as he looked around.

"At least the air is breathable," Micron as he enlarged to his normal human size. "I'm good."

"Let's do that again!" Impulse shouted.

"I'm fine," Carnage said. "Harley, are you alright?"

"I'm fine, puddin'," Harley said. "Did you really mean what you said?"

"You know I did," Carnage said as he helped Harley up. "How long?"

"Couple weeks," Harley replied. "I was picking the right time to tell you."

"Blood's obviously here," Frostbite said. "And he knows we're here, as well."

"Then let's get out of here before he comes," Micron said. "Imp, scout ahead."

"No prob, boss," Impulse said as he zipped out of the remains of the ship, then came back. "What am I looking for?"

After making sure no one was seriously injured, the Titans made their way west to seek out Blood after Imp had found a citadel that was heavily guarded.

"What could he be planning here?" Frostbite asked as he looked at the tower.

"If that laser he hit us with was any indication, it's nothing good." Micron replied.

"We need to find a backdoor into the place," Carnage said. "Imp, can you-"

"There's an underground entrance," Impulse said as he popped back. "It's unguarded."

Inside the Citadel, the Titans were being observed.

"They're here, Master," one of Blood's robot henchmen said.

"Excellent," Brother Blood said. "Let's finish them once and for all."

The Titans had snuck into the Citadel by sneaking in through an underground ventilation system.

"So far, so good," Frostbite said. "But I've got a feeling that this shouldn't be this easy."

Suddenly a horde of flying cylinder-shaped robots with chainsaw attachments flew towards them.

"You and your big mouth!" Harley shouted as she pulled an oversized mallet from her purse and started swinging it toward the robots.

"Guys-" Impulse said.

"Not now," Carnage said as he started firing energy bolts. "We're busy."

"Guys-" Impulse said again.

"Not now!" Micron said as he shrunk down to see if the robots had a weakness.

"Guys-"

"WHAT!" Everyone shouted.

Suddenly all the robots just stopped and fell to the ground.

"They're robots," Impulse said. "Duh, I can steal their energy."

It was that a trap door opened and the other Titans fell through. Before Impulse could follow, a plastic cylinder landed on top of him.

"Welcome, Impulse," Blood's voice said over a microphone. "I've been expecting you."

The other Titans had landed far below in an enclosed room.

"Blood must be losing it if he thinks we're scared of an empty room," Carnage said as the room started to close in on them. "But a room that can squash us flat is another story..."

Micron was flying around the room in tiny state, looking for a way out.

"Carnage, Frostbite, Harley, I found a weak spot in the wall!" Micron shouted as everyone aimed for the spot he pointed at. Carnage fired his energy bolts, Frostbite fired his ice powers and Harley swung her mallet until a hole was knocked into the wall and the four Titans escaped.

"What happened to Impulse?" Frostbite asked.

"He's gotta be around here somewhere," Carnage replied. "How much trouble could he get into?"

The others just stopped to think about it.

"We've gotta find him!" Micron said.

Blood had the cylinder Impulse was trapped in attached to a giant machine, which was draining Impulse's power.

"For so long I have tried to discover a power source that would never go dry," Blood said. "Then I heard the rumors about the Speed Force and the vast power it holds. You are the embodiment of the Speed Force and using you, I will siphon its power!"

"The other Titans will find you," Impulse said as he could feel his energy being drained.

"The other Titans are pancakes by now," Blood said. "And as soon as my laser cannon is charged, there will be no force powerful enough to stop me! You and your friends got a small taste of my cannon when it was on low power. Just imagine it when it's fully charged!"

The wall blew apart as the Teen Titans burst through.

"Time to clean up this Blood," Carnage said as Harley slapped him on the back of the head. "What? I can't make bad jokes now and then?"

"Ah, Teen Titans, I see you're alive," Blood said. "Allow me to fix that."

A secret door opened as more deadly robots charged toward them.

"While the Titans are busy, I'll finish charging my weapon," Blood said. "Then the fun begins!"

"Oh no you don't!" Harley shouted as her mallet hit Blood in the back, sending him flying forward into his machine. "I've had enough of you."

"Ah, Harley Quinn," Blood said. "I took pleasure in raping and killing your mother. She moaned like a whore the entire time."

"You heartless bastard!" Harley shouted as she swung her mallet, knocking Blood to the ground.

"Blood killed your mother?" Carnage asked.

"Yes," Harley said. "Then I took this costume in her memory and joined the Titans to take Blood down."

Carnage grabbed Harley and held her in his arms to comfort her.

"How touching," Blood said. "But do you think I would honestly let you get the best of me?"

Blood pulled a laser out of his cloak and fired. Carnage saw him and shoved Harley out of the way as the laser shot him right in the heart. He fell to the ground moments after he was hit.

"Two Titans down," Blood said as he aimed at Harley. "Four to go."

Suddenly Blood got the brain freeze of a lifetime as Frostbite used his powers to turn Blood's head into solid ice while Micron freed Impulse.

"This time the joke's on you," Harley said as she smashed his head with her mallet, sending red ice chunks flying. She then dropped her mallet and ran over to Carnage and held him in her arms. "Come on, baby, don't leave me."

Carnage looked up at her, and weakly said. "Take care of our baby."

Harley started to cry as she took off her mask and makeup, revealing her beautiful face and blonde hair. "Josh, please! Don't go! My name is Sarah Michelle Whitmore!"

Carnage ran his hand through her hair before he closed his eyes and his hand fell to the ground, cold and lifeless. Harley held onto to him for another hour before the other Titans broke her away. The uncharted planet would later be named Carnage.

Epilogue

R.I.P.
Josh Ryan Emerson
Beloved Friend and Teen Titan
2755 - 2778

Kenyon Sullivan, Jake Palmer, Preston Lindsay, Corey Adams and Sarah Whitmore stood above the grave of their beloved friend. Sarah was holding their baby, Joshua Jacob, in her arms.

"I can't believe it's been a whole year already," Kenyon said. "Josh was my best friend. He was always there for us."

"In a way, he's still here," Sarah said as she held her baby up. "I'm glad that Josh has four uncles around to help raise him."

"And he always will," Corey added. His new cybernetic leg was fully operational, and he was now operating as Fast Track once more.

Just then, the Titan Alert beeper went off.

"Trouble on the planet Druidia," Kenyon said. "The H.I.V.E. is back."

The Titans made their way to their ship, suiting up along the way as Sarah stood there with baby Josh, watching as the ship blasted off.

"Good luck, Teen Titans..." Sarah said as her baby smiled as if he agreed.
